Tessa Grace

Tessa Grace is a McGill student from Victoria, BC. She started dancing and competing at a young age in lyrical, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. In high school, she turned her focus to contemporary and hip hop by choreographing and holding auditions for pieces in galas, and dance competitions. She competed with several Hip Hop Crews, most notably an adult pre-professional team that performed at dance clubs and high-level competitions. During this period she had the opportunity to train in the United States, Spain, and Toronto.

Currently, she is an executive member of the United Groove Dance team, as well as co-captain of the United Groove competition team at McGill. The specialization of the group is Hip Hop, and her position entails choreographing and organizing 30+ dancers for recitals, fundraisers, and competitions against other universities in Ontario.

Tessa is excited to challenge her dancers with choreography and aspires to teach the important fundamentals of Hip Hop and Contemporary.
