Elise Marzin grew up in Vancouver, BC and began competing at the age of 5. She has trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Stage. Presently, Elise is studying English and Social Justice at McGill University in Montreal, and is training with Mosaica Dance Company. Throughout her years of training and competing, Elise has been fortunate enough to win multiple scholarships that have provided her with the opportunity to take classes at a variety of schools such as Joffrey Ballet School in New York and Denver. These experiences have challenged her and introduced her to a wide range of styles and choreographers. As much as Elise loves to compete, she still prefers dancing in showcases, and one of her most memorable experiences doing so would be dancing with her team on a runway at the Little Black Dress Gala at the Fairmont Hotel.
Elise is very excited to work with the dancers at Dance Nanci Moretti and hopes to share her passion by pushing students to explore and play through movement.
